Today is the big day with lots and lots to do to get ready to leave this evening. Our goal is to leave shortly after dinner when Brian gets home from work and drive a few hours up to Julie's house (to give us a little "jump start" on the drive). We will sleep at Julie's tonight and then leave Thursday morning to drive to Amy & Greg's in Colorado. Julie will also be leaving that morning to drive to Wyoming, but I think they are planning to drive straight through, so they will beat us there.
We will leave Friday morning from Amy's and drive the rest of the way to Wyoming. The big 50th anniversary party will be on Saturday (initially we thought it would be Friday evening) and on Sunday we will be down in Logan to hear the missionary homecoming report of one of our nephews who just returned from Brazil. We'll spend the week in Wyoming/Northern Utah and then head to Dillon for another fun week.
The kids are so excited to go! Now if we can just get everything done and ready today that needs to be done. I will try to post if I can from the road!
