So Proud of My Little Swimmers!

Today was the last day for the girl's swimming lessons for the summer. McKay has a last make-up lesson tomorrow morning. I am so proud of the progress they have all made! Just watching Hannah especially today and thinking about how far she has come makes me so happy. Even at the beginning of the summer, she was very nervous about jumping in the pool. Today she jumped in the deep end and swam over to the side completely by herself! Courtney did the same. What great little swimmers they are becoming!

Hayley is just so happy to be in the pool. She won't stop smiling, even underwater! Miss Kammie thinks it's so cute that she just smiles the whole time under the water. She said she doesn't think Hayley is really sucking water in, she is just smiling! Hopefully she won't develop a fear of the water in the next couple of years.

Hayley is not brave enough yet to jump in to someone yet (Miss Kammie ended up coming over to grab her hand), but she is getting there. (Loved this picture with Miss Kammie's outstretched hands in the corner.)

McKay has been working on diving, treading water, and today a little of the side stroke. He is making progress, as well!

To celebrate after lessons today, we went to one of the community pools for a couple of hours as a last outing before we leave on vacation tomorrow.
