Getting Replaced

Last night at bedtime Hannah told me that she wanted to read all the bedtime stories. So she sat down with Courtney & Hayley and read them the stories they had picked out.

I don't know if I'm getting permanently replaced as the bedtime-story-reader (my guess is probably not quite yet), but it was good to see her want to fulfill that role. She is a great little reader! The only problem she has when she reads out loud is she tends to mumble a little and read fast, like she forgets that people are listening to her.

Hayley was up again during the middle of the night (about 3:00am). It can be a little unnerving! She climbs out of her crib and comes in our room, then squeezes in the space between our bed and my nightstand and stands there and whispers ("Mom!" "Mom!" over and over). Since she whispers it takes me a little while to wake up and figure out what is going on! Then no matter what time it is, she asks me if she can either watch TV or play on the computer. :-) What a silly girl. I am thinking about moving her out of the crib sometime soon.

Time to go for now!
