Today is our 16 year anniversary. Wow. I was thinking today that we're at the point where half of our married life has been without kids (not because we weren't trying) and half of our married life has been the often-crazy adventure with four.
Since we celebrated big-time last year for our anniversary by going on our cruise, we kept it simple this year and made a last-minute decision to go out to dinner with the kids. We went to a Tex-Mex place where the kids had coupons for a free kid's meal (from the library summer reading program). We've had better food (and faster service), but it was still enjoyable.
It's been a great 16 years!
