We were worried that the rain would stop as soon as we left and our lawn would be brown and dead when we came home (it's happened before). We were pleasently surprised to see that it had rained (hooray!) and the lawn was not dead. In fact, it was green and very long! Here is a pic that shows our lawn next to our neighbor's mowed lawn.
Unfortunately, the weeds liked the rain too...
McKay couldn't wait until we got home and he could install and try out a house-design program he got from Michael in Wyoming. He had been begging (and begging) to try it on the laptop while we were driving, but we nixed that idea. He's been playing with it and designing lots of interesting houses.
And of course, everyone was really dirty and needed a good scrubbing!
